NEW Gemeinhardt Custom silver flute headjoints, gold plated lip & tube, J, K, S

Three Gemeinhardt "CUSTOM" Professional solid silver flute headjoints from a closed music store. They are the sample heads maintained in the store and have never been resized or used on a flute. They have only been used for store demos. The heads have gold plated lip plates and the inside of each tube is also entirely gold plated.

The gold plated lip plate does not change the sound, it only helps if a person has a reaction to bare silver. However, the gold plating on the inside of the tube does make the tone warmer. One head in each of 3 different styles, "K", "S", and "J" are available. Stored in a non-smoking house. The diameters of each headjoint tenon is as follows. The measurements were taken approximately 1/2 from the open end. Gemeinhardt headjoints tend to have larger diameter tubes than most other brands of heads. Pieces of copper tape will be included with each head in case the head is loose in your flute body. This is the current accepted method to fit a loose head as it does not change the headjoint interior taper.

Excessive tenon expanding can change the original design of a head. If the head it tight then it will have to be resized by a competent repair technician. Sales only, no international sales.
